| We have internet in my apartment now! I am freaking out!!! Of course, I'm not sure how long it will last once everyone and their mother is trying to get signal all at once. But for today I'm a freakin happy camper!!!!! And, I'm busy as heck, just all around, don't really have time to sit down and breathe, but it's kinda nice, takes my mind off some not so nice things. Alright gonna go now, watching Friends with pints of ice cream. | | |
| So school has started, and I have come to the realization that I am going to be bored out of my mind this semester, so hopefully, I can get some more hours at the Limited...my new place of work, Sweet! Me and Laura Bruno were both hired there, and that means...trouble! Haha! Can you just see us in a store, folding clothes, and commenting on all the strange people walking outside...not our customers, of course not...I think it will be a good time, and it seems like God might have a plan for us working there, so I'm excited. My first day is today, orientation, so we'll see! But, I would appreciate prayers, I'm not naturally a "people I don't know people person" so this is going to be a stretch for me, but it will be a heck of a lot better than sitting in my room for hours upon end with nothing to do. Pendel is great, I love the extra space, but hate that we don't have internet yet...I've discovered, I'm a computer addict, hence the reason I've skipped chapel to sit in the e-mail lounge and get 45 minutes of my drug of choice, haha. Alright, and now I'm off...I hope everyone is enjoying their first week back! | | |
| Got a letter from Banana Republic today saying I didn't get the
job...how lovely, so today, I'm off to fill out more applications
before everyone from PBU gets back. Hopefully something will turn
up, otherwise, I'll be bored out of my mind this semester!

| Went for my interview today...I don't know anything yet...She said I'd hear something within the week. I don't really know what that means...seeing as I've never had to interview for anything in my life before. But, hopefully I got it, the people in the store seem really really nice, and the store is so, classy looking, not to mention the discount would definitely help me build my teacher wardrobe! | Number one...I got a new cell phone today, and...it cost me 3 dollars,
yup, that's right, 3 dollars. I love it! Ok that was point
number one...Then I went and asked for an application at Banana
Republic, which is now hiring...Me...I asked for an application!
I don't know why but I was having serious palpitations as I walked into
the store, like thought I was going to die as the words asking for the
piece of paper came out of my mouth. But! The girl did not
eat me alive, in fact, she smiled, and turns out, we have the same
name. Not only did I fill out the application, but, I got an
interview. The lady wanted me to come in tomorrow, but I'm
busy...but she wanted to see me as soon as possible, so, I go next
Tuesday at 3! Best part, the store is really nice, so I won't
mind being stuck in it for long periods of time, two I'll be able to
STOCK PILE cash, three I get an employee discount to Banana Republic,
Gap, and Old Navy...assuming I get the job of course...but doesn't it
usually mean you've pretty much got it when you go in for the
interview???? I'm excited...this was a major accomplishment for
me...cause, I don't like to talk to people...ever. Ok, now off to
the other job! Beach tomorrow!!! Holla!
